As a property management company, FG Property must have the full overview and control of large volumes of documentation while at the same time maintaining the value of the building and safety through sensible operations and maintenance.

The owner of the building must be able to document that all routines comply with legislation and regulations. In addition, they must have control of all sub-contractors and follow up guarantees for technical installations and equipment. Furthermore, they must have time to meet the differing needs of tenants, and undertake necessary value optimisation of their properties.

Previously, fire safety documentation such as instructions, technical drawings, checklists, etc. have been printed as hard copies and archived in folders, making it difficult to update them and communicate to all the involved parties.

The electronic Fire Safety Register maintained by Caverion means that correct information can be retrieved faster and easier.

FG Property now has a complete overview of its properties, buildings, areas, technical facilities and components through an electronic OAM system (Plania).

Both FG Property and the local fire inspection services have a contact point in Caverion where they have electronic access to follow-up the individual buildings and to ensure that all legislation and regulations are complied with.
