Golden Helmet

We award our best strategy executors annually with Golden Helmet. The awards are given to individuals or teams, who have done extraordinarily excellent work in strategy execution in four categories. 

Any Caverion employee can nominate an individual or a team for Golden Helmet award. The winners are chosen by a group of Caverion management members.

Excellent leadership

Winner: Roman Wasmayr
Linz, Austria

Roman is an excellent apprentice trainer. The apprentice training program of the Linz branch has twice been awarded as outstanding by public authorities, the Ministry of Economics and the Chamber of Commerce. Also during his free time, Roman is always available for the young people.

Operational excellence

Winners: Stanislav Gladkov, Alexander Zvyagin and Aleksey Puchkin.
Moscow, Russia

The METRO Cash & Carry in Dubrovka, Moscow, was the first project with the client, and its success was crucial for further co-operation. The project – covering 8,000 m² – required a large volume of work in only two months, including documentation, reconstruction of the building, with partial retention and modernisation as well as installation of engineering systems and equipment.

Strong company image

Winner: Therese Johannesen
Oslo, Norway

Therese's work with Inclusive Workplace and sick leave prevention has been noticed by the major political organizations in Norway, the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise and the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions, and also by the Norwegian government. Not only have we gained great publicity, but we have also made key contacts at a national level, which is a major accomplishment.

Jukka Suoja, Golden Helmet winner 2015

Innovative and advanced solutions

Winners: Jukka Suoja, Antti Hiirikoski, Ville Lahtinen, Timo Metsäranta, Pasi Virtanen and Jouni Äyräs
Tampere, Finland

Jukka Suoja led the team’s development project for the apartment-specific fire extinguishing system, developed in co-operation with the Pirkanmaa Safety and Security Cluster. The system was recognised with the 2014 Innovation Award in Finland and featured in national media. The solution adds to the safety of physically challenged occupants. Caverion applied for a patent for the equipment.
