Objectives
- Fortum sought and researched various solutions for plant maintenance and operational efficiency.
- We were selected as a partner with a total solution that best meets Fortum's needs.
- Analytical and digital solutions for predictive maintenance - such as Caverion Intelligence - also influenced the decision.
Solutions
- We are currently responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of Fortum's hydropower plants and the Meri-Pori condensing power plant, continuous service development, and preventive and annual maintenance.
- We have long-term partnership and taking care of Loviisa power plant's annual maintenance and shutdown operations, as well as ash refinery in Pori.
- We serve Fortum in the condition monitoring of power plants with the latest Caverion digital solutions. Caverion Intelligence is in use at the Suomenoja power plant, for example.
- We were responsible for the district heating and cooling networks of Espoo's power and heating plants (e.g. Suomenoja and Kivenlahti) as well as the 850 km district heating and cooling network in Espoo, Kauniainen and Kirkkonummi.
- Other Uusimaa power and heat plants (e.g. Järvenpää biopower plant) and 200 km district heating networks we were responsible during 2016 - 2021.

- Fortum is a leading clean energy company that develops and offers its customers solutions related to electricity, heat, cooling, and resource efficiency. Together with its customers and society, Fortum's mission is to promote change towards a cleaner world and energy production.
- We have a long-term partnership with Fortum. We have been Fortum's maintenance partner since 2006. Since autumn 2016, we have been Fortum's partner in operation and maintenance at Meri-Pori condensing power plant and Uusimaa plants and district heating networks and in Joensuu in 2016–2019.
