WorldSkills opening ceremony in São Paulo
At this year WorldSkils Competion there are competitors from three different Caverion countries, Norway, Finland and Sweden.
Held every two years, the WorldSkills Competition is the world's largest professional education event. Competitors from over 60 countries and regions in the Americas, Europe, Asia, South Pacific and Africa simulate real work challenges that must be completed to international standards of quality. They demonstrate individual and collective technical skills to perform specific tasks for each of the professional skills. This year the competition is held in São Paulo, Brazil, on 11th to 16th of August and there are expected to be over 200 000 visitors this week.
Caverion Finland’s competitor Juuso Hietamies, 21, is competing in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. ”We will do our best and look forward where it brings us” Juuso said before the competition.

Norways competitor Mats Storbråten, 22, is a Telecom technician from Oslo and he is competing in the discipline telecom. He is planning on bringing a medal home for his country, and also Caverion.
Caverion's electrician Jonas Frølander, 21, from Sweden is competing in Information Network Cabling. “It is a pleasure to be in Worldskills, even if it is hard and tough to train on the skill.” Jonas commented on WorldSkills website.
