On the 10th of June 2026, Caverion Finland signed an agreement to acquire Kokkola LCC Oy, a company that provides laser cladding and machining services for industrial components used in demanding industrial environments. Founded in 2004, Kokkola LCC employs 16 people and generates annual revenue of approximately EUR 3.2 million.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be closed during the third quarter of 2026.
Kokkola LCC has long-standing customer relationships with companies in Finland’s mechanical engineering, metal, energy, marine, mining, earthmoving and process industries, among others.
“We appreciate Kokkola LCC’s highly skilled personnel, its long-standing customer relationships and its technological leadership. Laser cladding promotes circular economy and extends product life cycles, supporting the sustainability targets of companies operating in Finland. We wish the new employees a warm welcome”, says Marko Liius, Regional Director, Central Ostrobothnia, Industrial Service Centers at Caverion Finland.
“We want to play our part in extending the life cycle of industrial metal components in line with the principles of sustainable development. A high-quality laser coating can extend the service life of repaired components to even beyond their original lifespan. In new production, laser cladding gives the component a longer service life. We are proud that Caverion, a financially strong and reliable owner committed to the principles of sustainable development, has become the owner of our company”, says Seppo Heiskanen, CEO of Kokkola LCC, founder and one of its owners.
