Caverion to expand its maintenance agreements in Russia

The building systems company Caverion signed agreements in St. Petersburg and Moscow on the expansion of building system maintenance services offered to Burger King restaurants and on the maintenance of building systems for DIXY grocery shops in several towns and cities.   

The agreement signed with Burger King expands the scope of the co-operation started in 2012 to more than 65 restaurants. The agreement covers the maintenance and repair of all building systems in properties.

Burger King is the second most popular fast food chain in Russia after McDonalds. Burger King has restaurants throughout Russia: in Moscow and in Moscow region, in Vologda, Cherepovets, Krasnodar, Sochi, Omsk and Yekaterinburg, for instance.

The maintenance agreements for DIXY grocery shops cover the building system maintenance and repair services of approximately 60 shops in the Tula region and nearly 50 shops in the Pskov and Novgorod region.  

– Technical property maintenance is a growing business for us and also an area where we seek growth according to our strategy. Currently, we look after the maintenance of more than 1,300 locations. A major part of our customers are western and Russian shop or restaurant and grocery chains and industrial companies that have sites in different parts of Russia, says Seppo Hakala the head of Caverion’s operations in Russia.
